What Do You Do?

We provide a professional cleaning service for your property. Our services are designed to keep your home sparkling for you, so that you can focus on your own commitments.

How Do You Vet Your Cleaners?

All of our cleaners are carefully interviewed in their own home; this gives us an a good understanding of their character, background, and individual circumstances. We conduct an in-depth interview and consider whether we would like them to join our team. Prior to this we first carry out a telephone interview, and if the applicant passes this, we then arrange for a more thorough interview to take place in their own home where proof of ID, address, and references are collected and checked before we accept them into our team. We then monitor every cleaner thoroughly for the whole time they are with us.

Is Your Service Insured?

Yes, including a minimum of £1,000,000 public liability insurance. In line with all other insurance policies, there is an excess on the policy. In order to keep costs reasonable, the excess is £100 per claim, which is split between Rainbow Domestic Cleaning and the client.

How Quickly Can You Find Me a Cleaner?

Usually we can find you a cleaner with a few days; however, we expect it to take up to a week.

What If My Cleaner Goes on Holiday or Is Sick?

Just give us a call and we will provide another cleaner to do the job until they return.

Will I Meet the Cleaner before They Start and Will I Get the Same Cleaner Every Week?

Of course! We know the cleaner will be in your home and that personalities are often as important as cleaning standards. Once we choose a cleaner for you, we'll arrange for them to come along and meet you so that you can approve our choice and discuss the cleaning tasks you require. It's important that your cleaner is someone you like, so there's no need to agree to the first person we send you. Once you're satisfied that we've sent the right person for you, you can then mutually arrange a regular cleaning day and time.

Do I Need to Provide Cleaning Products?

Yes, our cleaners do not carry their own materials as the majority of our clients prefer to specify the substances used in their homes. This helps to keep costs down for our clients. Although, if preferred we can supply cleaning products at an extra cost. Please be aware that due to health and safety, bleach is a banned substance.

Are There Any Additional Costs to the Hourly Rate?

Absolutely not! There are no hidden fees; the hourly rate is all you will ever pay.

Can I Change My Cleaner If I’m Not Happy?

Yes, of course. We have a large and varied cleaner base and we'd be happy to assign you someone different if you are unhappy for any reason. Just give us a call.
